As a member of the Ministry of Public Security's technical challenge expert group for fingerprints, Jin Yi has summarized the "Jin Yi Fingerprint Methodology," through which she has solved more than 4,500 criminal cases using fingerprint matches. She shared with the audience the arduous journey of long-term tracking and solving of some cold cases that have lasted for 10 or even 20 years, showcasing the tenacity and resilience of public security officers in defending the interests of the people.

In her spare time from work, Jin Yi is also actively involved in social public welfare activities. It was through these activities that she met Rami Mrad, an international student from the School of Physics and Electronics at Jiangsu University.
